ICMAD (Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors), the 700 company-member association that supports entrepreneurial businesses in the cosmetic, toiletry and fragrance industry, has launched its annual talent search. A call for member entries has been issued for its fifth annual CITY Awards for Cosmetic Innovators of the Year. All products must have shipped and had marketing and advertising programs initiated between April 1, 2007 and March 31, 2008. Products and packaging design in personal care, color cosmetics and skin care are eligible. Two awards will also be presented for print and Internet advertisement or website design.
